One Step

We are a Dependency & Addiction Recovery Group, If you or someone you know is addicted to alcohol, drugs, pornography, prescription drugs—even watching TV—or has an eating disorder…there is hope! Just come as you are to Jesus Christ. He wants to set you free.

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”  -Galatians 5:16-23 (NASB)

The purpose of these lessons…

is more than just merely freeing a person from their dependency on drugs, alcohol or other addictive behaviors. It is to bring people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them become spiritually healthy disciples of Jesus.

These lessons are intended for use in an addiction recovery ministry and can be used one-on-one with individuals or in a group setting.

The lessons can form the basis of a program that, with proper oversight, is acceptable to a court of law for those on probation after they have been found guilty of a drug or alcohol-related offense.

One Step is a faith-based program and Christian principles are taught.

The Holy Bible is the true syllabus for these lessons.

The Bible itself says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16
